When does the eSIM validity start?

The validity starts once the eSIM is installed and connected to the local network at your destination eSIM. While it's possible to activate it in your home country, we recommend doing so before you depart to avoid poor signal issues during travel. Don’t worry — your data plan will not be deducted until the eSIM connects to the destination network.
