[For Android] eSIM doesn’t receive a signal after it is installed

Learn to fix any issues you might encounter while installing eSIM. Before diving into the fixes, let’s take a look at some of the most common eSIM network problems:

Location: Ensure you're at the right spot while using your eSIM.

Roaming issues: When you're on the go, remember to turn on roaming settings for network access; if you forget, you might run into connection problems.

Carrier network outages: Sometimes, the problem could be with the carrier itself, where outages disrupt connectivity for a bunch of users.

Here are 4 ways to fix the “Not receive a signal after installed eSIM”:

Enable data roaming option and eSIM connection

Check your cellular settings and ensure that eSIM is turned ON and data roaming is enabled. Lastly, don’t forget to turn OFF WiFi mode on your device.

Switch network mode

Check the supported network type on your device (2G, 3G, 4G, or 5G). Then try switching the “network selection” or “voice & data” from default to other options either down or higher. Then, wait for several minutes and select back to the network you preferred.
Restart your device

Sometimes, just rebooting your smartphone can fix those little software hiccups messing with your eSIM. This easy step can give your system a refresh and might just bring back your eSIM’s network connection. It’s quick, simple, and usually works like a charm.

4. Turning airplane mode ON and OFF

Toggling Airplane Mode can quickly reset your network connection and resolve most SIM-related issues. Simply turn it on, wait a few seconds, and then turn it off to prompt your device to reconnect, potentially fixing any temporary network problems.
Reset network settings

If you have completed the three methods above, please try this one. By resetting the network settings by access the “cellular data”, you will delete the data cache of your network on your device. This means that the information that saved on your phone about the network (e.g. WiFi, hotspot) will be deleted permanently.
